- 1 lb. silver fish, frozen (from Oriental store)
- 1 piece medium-sized tomato, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 piece medium-sized onion, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 finger-sized crushed ginger root
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 (0.7 oz.) pkg. Mama Sita Sinigang mix
Directions

1Defrost silver fish, wash and drain very well.

2Put in deep cooking pan.

3Add tomato, onion, ginger root, cooking oil, soy sauce and Sinigang mix.

4Turn over lightly with wooden spoon to mix ingredients.

5Cook over moderate heat for about 15 minutes.

6Remove from heat and serve.

7Best eaten over hot steamed rice.
