Simmered Chicken Wings

- 300 grams Chicken wing mid-sections (Cut in half)
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Black Vinegar (You can use whatever vinegar you like.)
Directions

1Combine all of the flavoring ingredients together.

2Heat a frying pan on medium heat.

3Pour sesame oil into the frying pan and start to cook the chicken with the skin side facing down.

4Once they turn golden brown, flip them over.

5Cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat setting to low.

6Steam fry the chicken.

7Once about 7-8 are golden brown, remove the lid.

8Add the sauce you made in Step 1 and cook it till the sauce cooks down.

9While it cooks down on a low heat setting, shake the frying pan from time to time.

10This helps coat the chicken.

11Reduce the sauce until it is nearly gone.

12While doing so, shake the frying pan and move the wings around so that they are evenly coated.

13Once it's done cooking down, they're ready.

14If you don't want to cook the sauce down till it looks like this, that's fine too.

15This cooks down quite quickly, so be sure to cook it on a low heat setting so it doesn't burn.
