  • 1 cup dried lentils - soaked in water for at least 1 hour
  • 1 onion - sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic - crushed& chopped
  • 1 Italian parsley healthy handful of, - chopped
  • 1 tomato vine ripe, - chopped
  • 1/2 juice fresh lemon
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 dash fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 dash sea salt

  • 1 dash chili powder
  • 1 dash red pepper flakes

    Heat a medium sauce pan with a drizzle of olive oil and place the onion, garlic and parsley and saute until the onion is clear on low.
