  • 1 cup apple (diced)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • vegetable oil , enough to have 2 inches in your cooking pot
  • Glaze
  • 3-4 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups confectionersa sugar
  • Makes 12 small fritters.
