  • 1 stick butter, cold
  • 1 cup buttermilk

    Preheat your oven to 450F.

    Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

    Cut the butter into small cubes and combine with flour with your hands or a pastry blender until the mixture is coarse and crumbly.

    Work quickly to prevent the butter from melting.

    Add the buttermilk and mix until just combined.
