- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Combine sugar and margarine at high speed until smooth.

2Add 1 egg at a time to mixture at medium speed.

3Add vanilla, then flour, mixing well.

4Spread into ungreased jelly roll pan (10 x 15-inch).

5Mark into 2-inch squares.

6Spoon 1 to 2 cherries from pie filling into center of each square.

7Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes only until light golden brown.

8Do not overbake. When cool, cut into 2-inch squares.
