  • 9 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 medium garlic cloves or 6 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 3 (10 1/4 ounce) cans baby clams, drained
  • 6 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 14 cups bottled clam juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 12 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 34 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
