  • 1 Egg
  • 15 grams Sugar (I recommend raw cane sugar)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 50 grams Whole wheat flour
  • 30 grams Cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder

Directions

    Mix together all the ingredients with a whisk.

    Beat the egg in a bowl and mix in the ingredients from the sugar to the honey in the order listed above.

    Sift the mixture into the bowl from Step 2 and mix together.

    Now the batter is ready.

    Let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.

    Heat a non-stick pan and pour 6 cm circles of batter into the pan.

    Fry both sides.

    When the batter looks a little dry, flip it over.

    This size is just a suggestion, so make them as big as you like.

    Top with your favorite jam, syrup, or butter (not liste) to finish.

    Optional: Mix cottage cheese or cream cheese with your favorite jam.
