- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 4 ounces butter, room temp (1 stick)
Directions

1mix flour and sugar in a bowl.

2add butter in in small chunks.

3work with hands until you get a fine crumbley mixture that still sets when pressed.

4press shortbread mixture onto an ungreased non-stick cookie sheet or pan.

5bake for 30mins at 325 (time will vary depending on thickness) watch for it to turn a pale tan color.
