Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 4 oz. uncooked spaghetti
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat oil in skillet.

2Add onion and beef and saute until beef browns.

3Add tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, basil and pepper; blend well and bring to boiling.

4Break spaghetti in half and sprinkle into boiling sauce a little at a time, stirring to keep it separated.

5Cover tightly.

6Simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until just tender, stirring occasionally.

7Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

8Serves 3 to 4.
