Simple Yogurt Bread

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Bread (strong) flour
  • 5 grams Baking powder
  • 150 grams Plain yogurt
  • 35 grams Sugar
  • 35 grams Vegetable oil

Directions

    Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix well with a whisk.

    Combine and sift the ingredients and add a third of it to the bowl.

    Use a whisk to mix until smooth.

    Add the remaining ingredients and use a rubber spatula to mix with a kneading motion.

    Make into one lump of dough.

    Divide into 6 pieces and make into round shapes.

    If you find them a bit stick apply a little flour.

    Spread out paper towels on a baking pan and lay the rolls.

    Bake in an oven at 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes (no need to preheat).

    These came out nicely.

    The centres are soft and fluffy.
