Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo, melted
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 bag caramels
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk

Directions

    Mix cake mix, oleo and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.

    Put 1/2 of mix in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Spread 6 ounces chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts on top.

    Mix 1 bag of caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

    Melt and pour over top. Add rest of cake mix (you will have to drop cake mix with a spoon). Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Cool and serve.
