Ingredients

  • 13 cup nutritional yeast (this is not regular yeast)
  • 2 tablespoons oat flour
  • 4 tablespoons garbanzo bean flour
  • 2 12 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (can use gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated onion or 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional) or 1 tablespoon fresh minced parsley (optional)
  • 12 teaspoon dried sage
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper

Directions

    In a pan over high heat, mix the yeast, oat flour and garbanzo flour and stir until it smells toasty.

    Take the pan from the heat and whisk in water and all other ingredients.

    Stir until it's smooth.

    Take the pan back to the heat and keep stirring until the gravy thickens and comes to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
