Ingredients
- 32 light caramels (I bag of Kraft)
- 5 tablespoons cream or 5 tablespoons evaporated milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 12 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

1Melt caramels and cream in a double broiler.

2Combine all other ingredients except nuts, chocolate chips and caramel mixture.

3Divide this in half and pat into a 9x13 pan.

4Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

5Remove from oven, sprinkle chips, nuts over now baked first layer.

6Then pour on the melted caramel.

7Sprinkle rest of the oatmeal mixture on top.

8Bake 15-20 minutes at 350.
