- 2 c. cooked long grain rice
- 2 c. cooked ham, diced
- 1 c. sliced green onion
- 2 c. broccoli flowerets
- 1 can cream of tomato soup (10 oz.), mixed with equal amounts of half and half (or cream of chicken or mushroom)
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh herbs, sliced tomatoes or green peppers (for garnish)
Directions

1Butter a large casserole or deep dish pie pan.

2Cook broccoli and green onion in a little water with a dash of salt for 5 to 6 minutes.

4In a bowl, combine tomato soup and half and half.
