  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 3 or 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 green peppers, cut in strips
  • 1/3 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 large can tomatoes

Directions

    Brown ground meat with onion in skillet. Season to taste. Put in the bottom of a 4 or 5-quart pan. Then add sliced potatoes, carrots, peppers, rice and tomatoes on the top. Layer in that order. Cover and bake at 350° about 2 1/2 hours.
