Sixty Minute Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 stick margarine
Directions

1In a large bowl, thoroughly mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

2Combine milk, water and margarine.

3Heat until very warm (margarine does not need to melt).

4Add to dry ingredients and mix with electric mixer (medium speed) 2 minutes.

5Add 1/2 cup flour and mix (high speed) 2 more minutes.

6Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough.

7Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, about 5 to 6 minutes. Cover and let rest 15 minutes.

8Shape dough into rolls and place in greased baking dish.

9Cover and let rise until doubled.

10Bake at 425° for 12 minutes.

11Makes 2 dozen rolls.
