- 1 1/2 lbs (750 g) raw large shrimp, peeled and deveined, patted dry
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) hot pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) olive oil
- 9-inch (22.5 cm) ovenproof earthenware dish or glass pie plate
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450F (230C)

2Spread out shrimp in baking dish; tuck slices of garlic in amongst shrimp.

3Sprinkle with salt and hot pepper flakes.

4Drizzle oil evenly over shrimp.

5Preheat oven to 350F (180C).

6Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring once or twice, until shrimp are pink and opaque and oil is bubbling.

7Serve at once.
