- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter (not margarine)
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Directions

1Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.

2Scald the butter and cream then add to the dry ingredients.

3Mix in the eggs.

4Grease and flour a 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet.

5Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
