Ingredients

  • 10 oz. ground turkey
  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. part-skim Ricotta cheese
  • 3 oz. uncooked noodles
  • 1 c. canned tomato sauce
  • 1 c. canned chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. each: salt, pepper, garlic powder and parsley
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese, divided

    In a large nonstick skillet, saute turkey and onions until meat just loses pink color.

    Remove from heat.

    In small bowl, mix part-skim Ricotta cheese, 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons of Parmesan cheese, dash of salt and pepper.

    Spread evenly over ground turkey mixture.

    Evenly distribute uncooked noodles on top of Ricotta cheese.
