Skillet Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 clove garlic (or use garlic powder)
  • 4 c. water
  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti (break into pieces about 2-inch)
  • 1 can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 3/4 c. ketchup

Directions

    In Dutch oven or a large pot, brown first 4 ingredients.

    Add water and bring to a boil.

    Stir in spaghetti.

    Reduce heat and cook, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Add the tomatoes and ketchup.

    Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for a while on low heat to blend the flavors.

    Serves 8. This is very good and may be doubled to serve larger groups.
