- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. chopped bell pepper
- small can sliced mushrooms (or use fresh)
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 c. cooked elbow macaroni
Directions

1Brown ground beef.

2Saute onion and bell pepper with meat (also mushrooms if fresh).

3Drain excess grease.

4Season with garlic salt and black pepper.

5Add tomato sauce and mushrooms (drained if canned) to skillet.

6Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes.

7Add macaroni (slightly undercooked).
-
8Cover and simmer about 5 more minutes.

9Add a little water if it gets too dry during the simmering.

10This is good leftover.
