  • 1 piece beef roast
  • 2 large onions, peeled and cut in half
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 14 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup merlot (or other red wine)
  • 12 cup beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs

Directions

    Place onions in bottom of crockpot, and place the piece of beef on top.

    Combine garlic, sauce, wine, and stock in a small jug, and pour over the beef.

    Sprinkle herbs on top, and cook on low for 4 hours, or until done to your liking., basting frequently with the liquid from the crockpot.

    Serve with roasted vegetables and yorkshire pudding.
