Slow cooker BBQ Pulled beef

Ingredients

  • 3 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 5 lb rump roast (your choice cut)
  • 7 oz packaged dry Italian style dressing mix
  • 3 cup favorite BBQ sauce(I use Baby Rays)
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1 packages of potato rolls or mini buns
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (your choice)
  • 1 tbsp Goya sofrito(sold in Latin food isle)

Directions

    Combine water, salt, pepper, oregano,onion salt, garlic, sofrito and Italian mix.

    Stir well, bring to boil and turn off.

    Place the roast in slow cooker and pour the ingredients over the top.

    Cover and cook on high for 6 hours.

    When done meat should shred with a fork

    Keep temp on.

    Mix in the BBQ sauce and mix thoroughly.

    Cover for 20 minutes (to warm sauce).

    When done.

    Fill bun/roll with meat.

    Sprinkle desired cheese amount and serve.
