- 1 dash Freshly Grated Nutmeg
- 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar, Lightly Packed
- 1/2 sticks Butter, Rough Cut Into Pieces
- 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions

1In a slow cooker, add all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on high until apples are tender, or about three hours.

2Note: The salted-cinnamon-vanilla-caramel sauce that coats the apples will thicken slightly upon cooling. Cool uncovered for a thicker sauce.
