  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can deviled ham
  • 3 scallions, minced
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • grated cheese (amount as desired)
  • English muffins, toasted

Directions

    Butter a 9-inch casserole dish.

    Cut eggs in half, remove yolks.

    Mix yolks with melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ham and scallions.

    Blend until smooth, stuff the mixture into egg halves.

    Arrange egg halves in the buttered dish.

    Melt remaining butter in saucepan, stirring flour to form a paste, and cook 1 to 2 minutes.

    Blend in milk and season with salt and pepper.

    Heat until thickened, pour sauce over eggs and sprinkle with grated cheese.

    Bake at 350° in oven 20 to 25 minutes.
