- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
Directions

1Hard-boil eggs; peel.

2Run a thin skewer through eggs from top to bottom and side to side.

3Heat water and remaining ingredients to a boil.

4Put eggs in a jar.

5Pour boiling liquid over eggs. Cover.

6When cool, refrigerate 24 hours.

7Shake and refrigerate at least 6 hours more.
