  • 1 1/2 lb. beef shoulder, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. any dry wine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning (optional)
  • 1 soup can water

Directions

    Mix all ingredients in a heavy roasting pan, preferably cast-iron.

    Cover; bake at 350° for 2 hours.

    Check after 1 hour to see if more water is needed.

    Serve with steamed rice.
