- 1 head cabbage
- bacon fat
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- soy sauce
- salt and sugar to taste
Directions

1Wash and cut up cabbage.

2Set aside in water.

3Put about 1/4 cup of bacon fat in large pot or skillet.

4Saute green pepper and onion in fat.

5Add cabbage which has been set aside.

6(Only use water that remains on cabbage when taken from bowl.)

7Cover and cook until desired tenderness.

8Season with salt and sugar to taste.

9Shake in a little soy sauce.

10Stir well during cooking.
