- 1 frying chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 3 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. liquid red pepper seasoning
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Place chicken, milk and red pepper seasoning in bowl. Refrigerate, covered, for 2 hours.

2Combine flour, pepper and salt in a shallow plate.

3Drain chicken.

4Discard any remaining milk mixture.

5Coat chicken with flour.

6Working in batches, brown chicken in hot oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.

7Return all chicken to skillet.

8Lower heat to medium-low and cook covered for 20 minutes, turning once.

9Increase heat to medium-high, uncover and cook 5 minutes to crisp skin.

10Drain chicken on brown paper bags.
