Smothered Onion Casserole

- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- dash of black pepper
- 1 small bag Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
Directions

1Saute onions in the margarine until they are soft.

2Place onions in a large casserole dish; sprinkle with the Swiss cheese. Combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper in a saucepan.

3Cook over medium heat on the stove until thickened.

4Pour over onions.

5Top with some of the stuffing; dot with butter.

6Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
