- 5 to 6 lb. oxtails
- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 onion
- 4 potatoes
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl pour flour; add salt and pepper to taste.

2Batter oxtails.

3In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil. Brown oxtails.

4Place in baking dish with 2 to 3 cups of water. Add salt and pepper in water to your taste.

5Quarter onion.

6Add to oxtails.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

8Quarter potatoes; add to oxtails.

9Cook 1 hour more until oxtails are good and tender.
