  • 1 round steak, cut in small pieces
  • 1 can water
  • 1 can mushroom bits, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening

Directions

    Roll steak pieces in flour.

    Brown steak in skillet.

    Combine all other ingredients.

    Pour over browned steak.

    Let simmer for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

    When steak is done, you also have your gravy for potatoes.
