- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. cubed steak
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium can tomato sauce
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- flour
- oil
- dash of salt to taste
- dash of pepper to taste
Directions

1Batter steak pieces in flour.

2Brown quickly in hot oil. Place meat in slow cooker alternately with onion, pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes.

3Cover with tomato sauce.

4Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.

5Serve over rice.
