  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. to 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

    Combine cake mix and margarine.

    Add eggs and mix well.

    Fold in nuts.

    Batter will be thick.

    Spoon into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

    If using a spice cake mix or carrot cake mix, sprinkle cookie bars with powdered sugar. Cream cheese icing makes other bars richer.
