  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 c. peanuts
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Melt caramels and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk; set aside.

    Mix together the cake mix, 1/3 cup of milk and butter.

    Press half of the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

    Bake 6 minutes at 350°.
