- 1 German chocolate cake mix (Betty Crocker extra moist)
- 1 pkg caramels
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts are best)
Directions

1Mix chocolate cake as per instructions on cake box.

2Pour 1/2 of batter in greased 9 x 13 inch pan bake 20 minutes at 350°. Melt the caramels, oleo, milk and pour over baked cake.

3Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.

4Add rest of cake mix on top.

5Bake 20 minutes at 250° and 10 minutes at 350°.

6Needs no frosting.
