  • 1 German chocolate cake mix (Betty Crocker extra moist)
  • 1 pkg caramels
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts are best)

Directions

    Mix chocolate cake as per instructions on cake box.

    Pour 1/2 of batter in greased 9 x 13 inch pan bake 20 minutes at 350°. Melt the caramels, oleo, milk and pour over baked cake.

    Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.

    Add rest of cake mix on top.

    Bake 20 minutes at 250° and 10 minutes at 350°.

    Needs no frosting.
