  • FOR THE WONUTS
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 3/4 cups Low Fat Milk (1%)
  • 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 1/4 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cups Milk (1%)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cups Sugar

    1. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Prepare the waffle batter: In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients (flour through cinnamon). Whisk to combine. In a separate small bowl, add the wet ingredients (milk through yogurt) and stir together. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix together until completely combined.

    2. Cook the waffles: Add about 3/4 cup of batter into the Belgian waffle iron (if you have a different waffle iron add the amount of batter you usually do). Cook waffle according to manufacturer's instructions. I cooked each for 4 minutes. Remove the cooked waffles to a plate and continue with the rest of the batter.

    3. Meanwhile, in a shallow dish, mix together the glaze ingredients until evenly combined. In another shallow bowl, make the topping. Combine the sugar and the cinnamon.

    4. Once the waffles have cooled, break them into quarters. Dip the top of the waffle in the glaze and then in the topping.
