- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. butter or margarine
- 4 eggs
- 4 3/4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sugar (for topping)
- 5 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar on medium speed for 5 minutes.

2Add eggs and mix well.

3Mix dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Mix on low speed until well blended. Combine sugar (for topping). Roll dough into 1-inch balls.

4Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

5Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

6These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out with crinkled tops.
