- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream margarine and Crisco.

2Add sugar and egg.

3Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt, then stir into mixture. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.

4Roll into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

5Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.

7Bake 8 to 10 minutes.

8Makes 2 1/2 dozen 2-inch cookies.
