- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- cinnamon and sugar
Directions

1Cream butter, eggs and sugar.

2Sift in flour, soda and tartar. Mix well.

3Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

4Roll into balls.

5Roll balls in cinnamon and sugar mixture.

6These will flatten as they bake, so space well on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350°.

8Cool on wire rack.

9Makes 2 dozen large cookies.
