  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Mix butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs.

    Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.

    Shape dough by rounded teaspoonful into balls.

    Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon and roll balls in mixture before placing on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place 2-inches apart.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400°.
