  • 1 stick margarine plus 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Thoroughly mix together the shortening, sugar and eggs.

    Sift together and stir the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Chill dough.

    Roll into small walnut sized balls.
  4. 4
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.

    Place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

    Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown and still soft.
