- 1 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix margarine, sugar and eggs thoroughly.

2Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

3Stir into margarine mixture.

4Roll into small balls.

5Roll balls in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

6Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.

8Cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.

9Bake 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 400° oven.
