  • 12 cup shortening
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 34 cups flour
  • 12 cup butter
  • 34 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions

    Mix shortening, butter, sugar, and eggs.

    Add flour, cream of tartar, vanilla, soda, and salt.

    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.

    Roll in mixture of 2 tbsp sugar and tbsp cinnamon.

    Place on baking sheet and bake at 400F for 8-10 minutes.
