  • 12 cup soft butter or 12 cup margarine
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add egg and beat until fluffy.

    Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and salt.

    Blend into creamed mixture to make a stiff cookie dough.

    Shape into balls the size of walnuts.

    Mix the 2 tablespoons sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon in a small bowl.

    Roll cookie balls in the cinnamon sugar.

    Place on greased baking sheets.
