- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- dash of salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 oz. chocolate morsels
Directions

1Beat egg whites, vanilla, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form.

2Gradually add sugar, beating until very stiff peaks form.

3Take 50 pieces of morsels for top.

4Carefully fold remaining chocolate pieces into egg white mixture.

5Cover baking sheet with brown paper bags (cut).

6Drop mixture by teaspoon onto paper.

7Top with chocolate bits.

8Bake slowly at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove cookies from paper to cooling rack while slightly warm.
