- 350 g whole wheat flour
- 100 g white flour
- 50 g rolled oats
- 30 g soft brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 30 g butter, softened and cut into chunks
- 150 ml milk
- 200 g plain yogurt
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

2Place the dry ingredients in a bowl, then rub in the butter.

3Combine milk and yogurt, then pour into the bowl.

4Quickly bring the mix together, adding more milk if it's a little dry.

5Knead to distribute the baking soda evenly.

6Shape into a round loaf about 15cm across.

7Cut a deep cross on top, two-thirds of the way through the dough.

8Place on a buttered tray and bake for 45 minutes.

9Cool on a rack for 10-15 minutes.
