Soft Buns/Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 c. scalded lowfat milk, don't boil
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 beaten Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in hot water
  • 6 to 8 c. flour

Directions

    Mix into a soft dough.

    Let rise 1 3/4 hrs; knead down; let rise 45 min more.

    Dough should be soft.

    Shape into buns and put in pans.

    Let rise again about 1 hour.

    Bake at 350 degrees till golden brown.

    Also makes good cinnamon or possibly caramel rolls.
