Ingredients
- 2 12 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 12 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 2 large eggs
- 4 12 cups flour (2-4T.more for high altitude)
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 2 12 tablespoons ground ginger
- 1 12 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 12 teaspoons nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon salt
Directions

1In large bowl, stir together brown sugar, oil, applesauce and eggs until blended.

2In another bowl, combine dry ingredients.

3Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and blend well.

4Roll dough ino 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

5Bake at 350 degrees until tops crack and cookies just begin to brown, 10-14 minutes.

6Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire rack.

7Makes 30 large cookies.
